Chris & Lainey
Chris and Lainey are Newquay lovers. Moving from Sussex over 15 years ago they’ve made Cornwall their home and have a real heart for the community.
Chris and Lainey run the company Mid Cornwall Landscaping where their passionately leading a team of people from all walks of life.
Together they have 4 great kids who love the outdoors and are as equally mad about being in the sea as they are!
Declan & Yolanda
After getting married in 2014, Declan and Yolanda made their first home together in Newquay after hearing God call them here. Yolanda is born and bred Swiss but moved to the UK in 2010 whilst Declan grew up in Woking, Surrey. They and their two kids love the sea and getting to know the local community, often enjoying both at the same time! Declan studies Theology at St. Melitus in Plymoth and also works one day for Blaze Church, and Yolanda is the Blaze Administrator. They love Newquay, the Church and seeing lives changed by the love of God.
Our leaders
Good leadership is important and we’re so thankful to have these guys heading up our team. Blaze Church relies on so many people who give their time and energy to our ministries to help us reach our community.
